The Electronics Engineers Association (EEA) the student body of the department of electronics is organizing ELECTROFOCUS ’10, a national level technical symposium on March 19,20-2010. Aptly, the department boasts state of the art modern architecture and research activities in VLSI, Signal processing and Communication Networks.
Department of Electronics
The Electronics Department was started in 1949 and was the first in the country to offer professional training in the area of Electronics. Our department is a blend of tradition and innovation. The main objective of the department right from its inception has been to provide high quality trained manpower as well as technical inputs primarily to meet the requirements of the industry and R&D establishments. Our students are most sought after by various core electronics and software companies. The illustrious alumni list includes, among others, Dr.K.B.Chandrasekar.
